1.
Submerged in an ocean vast and dark Through storms swells, a vessel splits through the myriad waves that break above Creatures loom, motionless shapes, rising from the chaos Transcending frames that shift and warp, beneath the naked eye Planar Assault Monstrosity Cannot be, what I see before me Amalgamations, blending life and death Buried on the dark side of the moon
2.
Why can’t anybody tell the truth Bizarre recollection of histories past Cut, changed, repasted Printed and published to poison the minds of those that are forced to read it Killing with bullets that we cannot see Riddled with wounds that refuse to bleed A narrative as vicious as bombs or of flame Controlling the angle, and hacking the game Warp of words… The truth is as good as your best guess From one lie and onward to the next Living in a world that seems to thrive off of pain and seeing others’ demise Broken virtues left in the dust Thinking this will fix your ugly heart… (it won’t) Only truth will set you fucking free
3.
Walk this fucking earth Keep on moving until you cannot Moving uphill against terrain that is wrought with the broken dreams of all those who have failed and the haunted despair Contained in their wails of ancient foretelling that this world will end Trapped in a passage, written in pen Frozen in pages that will never be read Walk this earth Walk this fucking earth Nowhere as near as the place you have left And with every step further you stray from the path There’s no destination, and no place to rest The future is distant and you’re out of breath Seeking and pleading for visions to find you broken and hopeless on the side of the road Take it all back for a place to call home
4.
Weaving through a blurred scape overflowing with too many twisted visions You tell yourself these lies every day with steady and blind vindication How bad can it be? Can we really not see Empathy fading like an echo “This is fine, it’s not that bad” Just going through the motions day by day Every week just blurs to the next one, walking over bodies where they lay Arrive at the scene when the blood’s already dried No rush for the dead, bound straight for the morgue Last responder, Another day, another tragedy
5.
Hell Is the world that we know Align Shared vision of fortune and fame Manufactured appearance Shallow, desperate, in vain.. owh Distaste test Failing it like you fail yourself… Tongue in cheek, with mouth sewn shut Pretend to care like you imagine you should Every word contradicting the next The bladed tongue of a sycophant Wretched, living to lie Disingenuous cult of the idolized few Vicariously live, through what others do You think it’s not you, you think it can’t be Distaste test failed to a shameful degree
6.
Prism Break 01:39
When the struggle is over When the casket is closed Judged by our peers By friends turned to foes This curious existence Must soon come to end The past seems to blur In retrospective glands Washed away, by unclean hands Sands of time, mottled with filth Corrupting the earth And rigid in scope Reality forced… The primal fear, of what we know Can you see, the prism’s light Blinding unseeing eyes Fractal demise

about

TIDAK is a new Indonesian/U.S. hardcore project featuring members of AK//47, Rottenness, and Formless Master. TIDAK’s debut demo was recorded D.I.Y. in the isolation of coronavirus quarantine, and formed into six songs of pissed-off riffs and sentiments. TIDAK means “no” in Indonesian and sums up the band’s message well enough.
